I don't know how it has happened, but I am so glad it has.
Cool breezes have replaced the hot, humid air that once dominated our little town.
You can feel it, smell it, and taste it, fall is not far away.
What joy that brings my heart!
Our summer heat can be described in one word- oppressive.
I need to get my sleepy headed gals up, so we can enjoy another walk this morning. It won't be easy since I opened their window early this morning, and let the cool north wind blow into their room. They're all snuggled up and not stirring.
I can't believe it's August, and I've traded my iced lattes for hot coffee with a shot of my new favorite creamer, Southern Butter Pecan.
Not much to share this morning, as I have been wasting too much time redesigning the look of my blog. I have to be careful, there are so many cute things out there to play with, and yes, one can lose track of time when doing so.
I pray that others are feeling relief from the heat wave that took hold of much of the mid-west & south this summer.
Gotta go grab a jacket, and get outside, I'm gonna go literally CHILL OUT, it's that cool outside.
Simply unbelievable! Have a great August day everyone, I know I will!
A passage from Psalms 139:1-6, a delicious meditation on our Heavenly Father-
1 O LORD, You have searched me and known me.
2 You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
3 You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether.
5 You have hedged me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is high, I cannot attain it.
Is that not delicious? This is a feast for my mind, I love this passage. What an indepth view of how intimately our God knows us.
